I sold my hoodie and one guy sent me huge amount of money by sending invoice and he said he's in a rush so he needs his item as soon as possible. he showed me his account (he took a picture and I could see the transaction) so I trusted him. I shipped my item and now he doesn't answer and I called him, said the phone number doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure I got scammed and I tried to paypal claim and I couldn't. The weird part was the payment is still pending but it showed as recieved( I didn't get the money yet). Is this a scam? How do I paypal claim?
If he sends you an invoice, that means he is requesting you money to pay up. Since you are selling a hoodie and expecting payment, it is you who should be sending an invoice so the buyer can pay up and you can ship the item. I believe you got tricked. Only thing you can do is stop shipping to avoid the scam.
