Hello

I received an email as i can the same as many others saying from paypal but not addressed to me personally so i was aware it prob a scam, i have reported it to spoof@paypal.com but to warn others the email said my accounrt had been recently compromised.  In order to prevent any fraudulent activity from occuring they are required to open an investigation into this matter.

The email went on to say that if I did not update my information within the next 72 hours then they would assume my account is fraudulent and will be suspended.

The email address it came from was very obviously wrong but BEWARE.

It also gave the option to apply for a paypal visa today (assuming then i would follow that link maybe?)

The worrying part is at the bottom of the email (had i not realised) it told me not to reply to the email as it is not monitored but to log into my paypal account and choose the help link located in any top right hand corner of any paypal page,.

I just hope nobody else falls for this email

Just FYI, Smiley Frustrated   thank you.
