Virtual Assistant want access to my paypal account and ask my password

The technical person or virtual assistant (who lives in another country) that I have contracted to do the setup of my paypal account with a business I want to put on the internet or online, asks me to give my account number and password to achieve the setup with my website.

Is there any way to give him Access to my paypal account without having to give him my password?
