Got ripped off as well today... Mailed an Ipad without even thinking, paid the fee to send it, and even paid a $200 fee for whatever they can come up with...
Very disappointed! This doesn't just make me want to throw myself into a coma and rot but it also makes me less likely to EVER shop online.
If nothing can be done then I'm removing my account information from Banks and am never going to buy online or sell online again.
Its ludicrous how this stuff slips through the internet!
I've never done a online transaction like this and I have to say how brutally IDIOTIC I have had it with money scams being our fault...
firstly, those who send you false PAYPAL emails should be put to prison right on the spot.. I did this all from a phone which is why I didn't realize the sender not being paypal BUT this is complete bull crap.
A long email was stapled to my account shortly after sending $200 and it was asking for MORE. I stopped and they said I'd be put in prison and I'm like I DONT HAVE ANYMORE MONEY YOU IDIOTS GO AWAY
and then they block my number ultimately a waste of MY money and time...
I am not a very rich college student and needed the money for school but now I've lost virtually everything.

Personal education is the best defense against these scams. You need to learn how to protect yourself.
Perhaps you could get your college to offer such a course in internet self protection and how to use good judgement with internet business.
