Seller won't communicate with me about my purchase

Hello, about a week ago, I had purchased some contacts from an online seller through paypal. Unfortunately, I realized too late that these particular contacts won't work with my eyes and so, I contacted the seller to request for an exchange as it said on their return policy that I was eligible to do. However, it's been a week, and no response from the seller, and I've since then sent multiple emails detailing my situation. Still, no response. It may seem like that they still have enough time to respond, but the problem is, they have a two-week limitation on their return policy, which means, if I don't return the unopened contacts back within those two weeks, I'm no longer eligible for an exchange, or refund. I fear that they are trying to scam me by forcing me to wait out  those two weeks, just so they can use their own policy to refuse me. All I wanted was an exchange, but now, since I don't feel valued as a customer, I want a refund. The contacts are still in its original packaging and ready to be sent back at anytime. I just need for someone to communicate with me, and that's not happening. So what do I do? Paypal's dispute options doesn't exactly fit my situation.

Since you received the items and they are as described, you recourse is to work it out with the seller.  A reputable seller would have an toll-free number to call.  Do some research about the seller and find an alternate contact method.

Well, I can't really work it out with a seller, who doesn't want to communicate with me. That's the problem. All they seem to have is emails, and the one telephone number they do have is for prescribtions, which is just a voice message. It would also seem that they have even blocked me from making a review, so it goes to show that they are indeed avoiding me. Refusing to uphold a policy that they themselves have put up should be something to consider in Paypal's Buyer protection, but thanks though.

PayPal does nothing to enforce seller polcies review sellers for trustworthiness.  PayPal is not a substitute for good buyer judgement.

PayPay, however, does operate according to it's published polcies for buyer and seller protecton.
