Hi, I really need some help. I was selling my iPhone and this person sent me a message stated that he wanted to buy my iPhone. Later on we exchanged mails through gmail. And then he told me that he was a aure buyer and that thete is ko problem when it comes to money and that it's okay for him to send the payment first including the shipment fee. The shipment fee is 5,500 and it's gonna be through DHL. Since this is the first time that I'm gonna use PayPal, I created an accpunt for myself. I even sent him my email for PayPal when he asked for it. Well, to cut the story short, I requested him the amount for the phine and the shipment fee. And then I received email confirmation from PayPal. The subject was PayPal Service. And this is one of the email that they sent me earlier. Please help me. I don't know if this is a fake one or if this ia really from PayPal: Dear Shin, Good day. My name is Alis <removed> from PayPal Customer Support. I hope you are doing well today. Do you really think that email is from paypal
will be reported to the Authorities /FBI and CNN TV/ iTV network show for an immediate legal action to take place on you.
Sorry but that email is so funny and obviously not from paypal, ignore him, he is trying to scam you.....bet he's in Nigeria or Africa as well maybe?
Remember >>>
Paypal NEVER tell you to send trackable, they advise it for seller protection etc but it is not compulsory.
Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
