Made a deal via instagram DM's and did not receive item?

(I have been having my own problems but my friend asked me to post this question for them)

 

I found an item I wanted on instagram and the guy was selling it, he sent me an invoice and a few days after I paid he changed the status to "order processed/service rendered". I haven't received the item. It's been about 15 days. I am concerned because the invoice says "custom ultra boost". The seller has not responded to me... I'm afraid the word custom will not protect me?

The invoice has all of the details about the product.  So, it depends on what you accepted as part of the inovice.  That's what matters.

Did the invoice specifically include shipment of a product?

 

More information is needed.

I guess your friend should review PayPal policies, the options avaialable with the transaction, and then decide what to do.  Your firiend needs to get involved in the resolution.
