- I'm trying to sort through fraudulent charges on the credit card that I don't use in the community. The merchant listed is untraceable. Prior to the merchants name there is two capital P's (PP). Does PayPal use these letters in front of a merchant name on credit card statement?

If you used your card online to buy an item but did NOT log in to your paypal account then of course the transaction would not show in that paypal account.
HOWEVER that does not mean that the seller did not use a Paypal 'card reader' to process that payment.
If they did then it would show as paypal on your card statement (even if you did not log in to pay) as you would have been a guest buyer.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
