I'm selling a iphone on craigs list.. I get a txt saying he wants to buy to send him my email address an he will paypal me.. I do so an he sends me a txt saying check my email.... I got an email saying the funds were deducted from his account an I had to provide a tracking number to receive the funds... The they were pending on my account.. I logged on to paypal an can't find the funds anywhere... But the paypal email said they were there I just couldn't get em till I provided a tracking number to prove that it shipped to protect me an the seller... I feel like its a scam. What yall think???
Youre instincts are correct Most definitley a typical scam, spoof email and you will probably receive more spoof emails asking you to click on links etc DONT DO IT.
you can even google what they write nowadays and you will see their methods!!
