Unable to login through eBay to make payment

I have a Secure ID code generator provided by PayPal.  When I try to make a payment in eBay, throught the PayPal Checkout. It times out after verifying my login not completing my transaction.  I would have to try several times before the transaction can be processed. It's starting to get nerve racking.  It was not like this before, I don't know why it's happening the last few times I tried to make a payment through eBay.  I can login to the PayPal site fine with my code generator, just not through eBay.

I can login on ebay but once i go to purchase something through PayPal it says ive been signed out....?????

Try adding your code generated number immediately after your password.
