I listed a $400 item on craigslist. I have someone that wants to pay me with PayPal and asked me to ship it to Ohio. They have offered to pay with Friends and Family. If they pay with Friends and Family, is there a way for them to scam me and get the money back? I know PayPal doesnt hold the funds, so it should appear right away if they actually make the payment, but I'm skeptical about them doing a charge back or someting.
If they fund their paypal payment via a credit card then they can still do a chargeback and as you would have accepted a ''gift'' payment you would have no seller protection.
