Purchased item with PayPal but I never received it

So on April 29th I decided to order some clothing from an online clothing store as a birthday gift to myself. About two months pass by and I realize I never received my package. I figured maybe its on back order or something so I decide to send the site an email inquiring about my order on June 27. She responds saying the order shipped first week of May and I should have received it, which obviously I didn't. She then tells me she's away and will update me about the tracking info and what's going on. Another month passes and I receive no update so I decide to open up a dispute through PayPal and again ask what's the status of my package. She then up's the dispute to a claim and again states she sent the package and she's still away and has this personal stuff going on so she really needs the money. However she still never provided me with any tracking info. I find it all very suspicious and I wanted to know if anyone went through something similar and did you ever get your money back? I really don't want to pay for an item I never received. Thanks in advanced!

If she can't provide you or PayPal with a tracking number that proves delivery of the item to your address then you should get a refund.
PayPal gives her 10 days from when you escalated the dispute and if she can't do that then they review / refund within 48 hours of the deadline she is given to respond.

Does anyone know what will happen if she did send the package but I just never received it? Does paypal still get involed or is it now up to discretion of the seller as to whether or not I'll get my money back?
