Payment sent but product has not shipped

I purchased a freewire tattoo machine from Devon *******, it has been 6 days and my tattoo set has yet to be shipped. How long should i wait to file a dispute, or how can i check this member's history of business transactions to other customers? 

please help.

What makes you so sure it has not been shipped.

Have you contacted the seller.

You have up to 45 days from you payment day to file a dispute with Paypal.  Once the dispute is filed you have an additional 20 days to escalate it to a Paypal claim.

Paypal does very little till its escalated to a claim.

i have tried to contact the seller by email, and phone. no luck so far. i have made several tattoo supply purchases with paypal through various vendors, and the ritual is usually the same. my items are usually shipped within a day or two, most of the time its surprisingly fast, but even logging into my account on the freewiretattoomachine.com site shows my purchase is "processing".

What does the site say about shipping.

If no shipping time frame is given, per FTC rules the seller/business has up to 30 days to ship.

i have looked and there isnt any specific shipping info on the website. i dont know what to look for as far as scams are concerned. can you check out the site for me, maybe you might see something i wouldnt notice. freewiretattoomachine.com  it only says my shipping is free.

Unless you check out page showed a shipping timeline, the seller has up to 30 days to ship your item per the FTC rules.

Yes I know that unless it is a special order 30 days is excessive, but thats the FTC rules.

Since the seller is not responding I would give it one more day and try to contact them and if no reply then file a paypal dispute and escalate it to a clame.

Also did you fund the paypal payment with a credit card or branded (m/c, visa).

thank you for taking the time to check out that site for me, much appreciated. i will give it a few more days and then file a claim if the seller remains unresponsive. i funded the paypal from my personal credit union account, does thiat matter or affect the claim process in any way?
