Does Paypal protect me?

I added someone who was going to sell my their Youtube account they want me to pay 45$First he then gives me the account information and then I pay him the extra 15$.  I told him to let me think about it and he keeps telling me if im ready. I want to know that  if he scams me am I protected? I will also record the transaction if that helps.
Please help I dont want to get scammed 😮 Thank you for reading

Firstly there is very little paypal buyer protection for virtual transactions.

Secondly there is NO buyer protection if you pay in instalments.

If you don't want to get scammed, best to stop all messages to the other party.
