I have a Gmail email address, and have had it for 8 years. In the last week, I have received email intended for someone in the UK (I am in the US), one of those being a purchase using PayPal.
I checked, and know my email account hasn't been hacked, and neither has my PayPal account.
While I know that Gmail *doesn't* distinguish between capitals and lower case letters, nor does it recognize the "." between my first and last names (these are the only differences between my email address and the one this other person is using), I don't know if PayPal *does* - because that seems to be the only way this person could have gotten a PayPal account using this address.
Any hints how to fix this?
