Buyer files non-receipt claim after 1.5 years

Hi guys,
Need some help. Out of nowhere i got a non-receipt claim from a buyer on an item he paid more than 1.5 years ago. Paypal wants me to respond or they will rule in the buyer's favor, but it only gives me 3 options 1) upload tracking 2) proof payment was already refunded 3) refund the money.
The problem is i no longer have the tracking number ( i stupidly just sent the tracking in an email and didnt upload to paypal when i shipped it). So what can i do? it is for over $700, which is a lot of money. Paypal isnt giving me any option to explain they just want the tracking number.
I didnt even know buyers can file a non-receipt claim after 1.5 years, does paypal really expect the seller to be able to find the tracking info after so long.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The only thing i can think of is that he has done a chargeback via his credit card rather than a paypal dispute but its still odd that a c.c. company would do this after so long.
Why not ring paypal and state its 18 months ago and you may be lucky and they will close it.
Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
