I am surprised Paypal allows members t o accept payments for digital currencies, how do you prove delivery if someone files dispute of item not received,as Paypal expects online viewable tracking showing it has been delivered by a commercial carrier?

I'm having the same issue. I submitted a request to Paypal for an explanation. Hopefully they can allow the purchase if they understand that I authorized it.

I had the same issue, using the Business Debit Card. I called the number on the back of the card, and was told that they are flagging all transactions originitating from Coinbase, because of the number of fraudulent transactions coming from there. Just calling in and veryfing the transaction was legit, they were abel to authorize the transcation, and get Coinbase working. Try giving them a call.

Greetings- Here is some help, Call the card center @ https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/contact/call and tell them your transactions were declined. They told me it was the way the Merchant (Coinbase) was requesting payment without the three diget security code. They sent me a text message on my phone to verify my identity and then told me any further charges to Coinbase would be approved. I have not tried it yet because the price has gone back up on Bitcoin. Hope this helps someone.

If you call the number on the back of the card, they will allow the charges for the next 24 hours. After that, you'll get declined and have to call again. I've done this 6 times now, and they claim they can't fix it permanently no matter how many times I call and OK the charges. Every time you want to use coinbase, you will have to call the number on your card. It's fairly asinine that I can't permanently approve a vendor. Paypal still has a large grasp on the online payment market, but that's going to continue slipping away with problems like this when they refuse to help. If you have an android phone, or facebook, or a google account, or an iphone, you can pay/receive payments from almost anyone on the planet without Paypal now.
