Can I contribute to my own Pool?

I'm looking to set up an easy way to save money for my partner's upcoming birthday and thought PayPal would be perfect for this as it will remain off any statements he might see. I thought a pool would be a great way to do this but I can't seem to contribute to it myself, is that right?

Many thanks!

Please let us know if you make any progress..? I set up a pool with just my husband and myself, thinking it would be a good way to save $ for a specific goal. Apparently, he's the only one as of now who can contribute to it, which is obviously incredibly unfair. I want to be able to set aside $ that I can forget about for a bit and not touch as well. Without fees to transfer it to him to contribute it for me; that's awfully complex to just save some $...

Hi. Yes, PayPal finally confirmed, although it was easy I can tell you 😞 No, unfortunately Pools don’t support the organiser being able to contribute, sorry. I think it’s completely ridiculous, won’t do another one:(

So having read the replies to this simple issue...the answer is NO?

Somehow it is too tricky for the Pool Owner to be able to contribute to their OWN POOL?!

That is daft.  To say the least...

I'm now going to transfer funds to another of MY POOL so they then submit funds to MY POOL?

Struggling to see how this is not a simple option....grrrr
