debit card application error

i have been trying to go through the application for the debit card for the past few days now, and each time i get an error message saying "An error occurred during processing."

I do not know what to do, i would just like to get my card

I am getting the same message today when applying for the Paypal Debit Mastercard.

"Error during processing"

Tried again a few minutes later, received the same error.

I am receiving the same error. It would be nice if someone had an answer.

I found the answer buried in the debit card info.  You have to become a "premier" Paypal member.  Since it doesn't cost anything, I did that.   I now have a debit Mastercard on the way.
