Hello all I'm new here and trying to figure out how this all works. I am an ebay and amazon seller and yesterday I downloaded the Paypal Here app on my iphone so I can optimize my selling to ppl in person. I was thinking that Paypal Local was another avenue to sell from similar to ebay and amazon, but now I'm thinking maybe not? Can someone tell me what exactly is paypal local?
Thanks

"PayPal Local" is a directory listing of local businesses that accept PayPal. It's available thru the PayPal Here app.
If you're planning to use PayPal Here for transactions in person, you may want to check out other alternatives like Square. We use it all the time and love it. Square also has a local business directory that you can get listed in. With Square, you only pay a fee when you have a Sale. Intuit has an app and card reader however, they have a monthly fee in additon to transaction fees. One nice feature with Intuit is you can import tranaction history into Quick Books Pro. Just tossing out a few ideas.
