Deactivating PayPal Prepaid MasterCard (Please Help)

Is this possible? Say you are using your prepaid MasterCard and you pay the $5 a month fee. What if I want to stop using my PayPal prepaid MasterCard? Can I deactivate it or what? I only want to use the card for emergencies only, but I am not going to use it forever. My new PayPal Debit MasterCard hasn't arrived yet, so I want to use my prepaid card just one time.

It's either active or closed.  Nothing in between.  If the card is not needed anymore, you can cancel it.  See the card user agreement for details:
