Check Capture images disappeared from iphone mobile app after update

I recently updated to the new PayPal iOS app (which while I usually like change, I like much less than the old app). The problem I'm having is I use check capture a lot and when I look at my history on my iphone app I no longer can see the saved images of the checks prior to updating the app. Without these images I have no way of knowing which check capture goes with which client/invoice. I'm now getting netcheck notices of these checks clearing into my paypal account but have no idea whIch checks are which. Many occur on the same date and for the same amount. It appears for new captures (made after the app update) these images are still being saved, but where can I find them for checks captured before the update and clearing after the update? I read the change log on the update before upgrading and it didn't say anything about losing history.

This is really affecting my business as well!  Any word on when it will be fixed?  I LOVE check capture feature!

Guess what? It's still not working. I'm starting to think this is not a "technical problem" but some type of disargeement between Paypal and the Company they contract to process checks by image.

I called PayPal Tech Support today.

 

PayPal reports that engineers are still working on it.  The program failed after they tried to make changes.

 

They do not have a promised date that it will be fixed.  PayPal says to take your checks to your bank for deposit.

 

If you want to join in and make a call every day to get this back on their priority list, go  "Help" wheh you are logged into paypal on the computer , then click "Contact us" then click "Call Us."

 

At the voice prompts just say "Mobile Technical Support" at each question they ask.  When you get to a live person, say you need Mobile Techincal Support.  You will then be transferred to someone else.  

 

When you get to Mobile Tech Support, please ask if they know when the problem with Check Capture will be fixed and if they can report back to the developers that this is an ongoing probem for a couple of weeks.

(*sigh*)  Still not working.  Considering that this is the only reason I've been using Paypal, well, it's a pain.

I think it really unprofessional of paypal to not tell me that there is a problem with the check capture feature when I called 2 weeks ago they said everything was fine with it and I should just take my check to the bank if I couldn't get it to work which is not an option for me the level of costumer service i recieved discussed me and if i didnt need it wouldnt use it anymore for anything

It's inexcusable on at least 2 counts:  

 

1) PayPal hasn't put out an error message that simply tells everyone that Check Capture is down for all. Instead they have confusing error messages that even their telephone tech support people don't understand.

 

2) No one from PayPal has joined these discussions in the PayPal Community to advise us about the problem that has been going on for about a month at this point.
