Card Reader not working on iPhone 6

 Is anyone else having this problem?  The phone won't even recognize the device when I plug it in to the headset jack.  Is there something wrong with my reader?  If anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

My I6 is not reading my card reader. It worked before, but now I have to have my cusotmers manually put in their credit cards. Any suggestions?

All of a sudden I notice my iPhone is detecting the card reader but does not respond to swiping, so I am forced to pay more fees on each customer purchase. Is there any resolve from Apple because PayPal does not have an answer and Verizon does not either

I just got off the phone and was told paypal don't know why it's not working. Tech for paypal said I needed a old iphone for it to work. I just got the reader in the mail today and was ready to use it.

I'm going back to square.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY IPHONE 6S. IF I USE THE SAME READER ON THE IPHONE 4 IT WORKS FINE BUT NOT ON THE IPHONE 6S . PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU GET IT RESOLVED.

Mine doesn't work on my iPhone 6 Plus either but works fine on my iPads. I don't know what the deal is, I've gotten nowhere with customer support!! Post if you find a remedy and I'll do the same. Good luck!!
