why is it taking over 12 hours to post notify me of payments to my account?

all of a sudden for the last 2 days...3/3/2017 and 3/4/2017....notification of payments received to my paypal account have taken paypal over 12 hours to notify me by email......this use to be instant, is there a problem.....

this is happening on my ebay sales.....

if thats the case, wouldn't a notice on their home page be helpful....sheesh...
