I recently sold something on eBay for $147.50. Paypal took $6.79, and eBay is taking $14.75.

Ah, yes! That's what I missed. Thanks!
Can you provide a link to how they calculate fees for international sales?

No it's not, it is extremely vague, mentions that the fee will vary but doesn't explain how to determine what it will be.

kernowlass, I quote: 'For all other transactions involving a currency conversion, you’ll be charged an additional 2.5% of the amount of the transaction, on top of the wholesale exchange rate, as a currency conversion “spread”.'
I was referring to the currency conversion "spread" fee (on top of the 2.5% flat fee), nowhere could I find an explanation of what it would be. If you know, please tell.
But hey, a company that relies on volunteers to answer their customer service questions deserves whatever fees they charge, right? -{ : ?o)

Well if you post to a ''community'' forum then you are going to get members of the community.
If you want customer services then I suggest you click on help / support and select that option.
But I found a link within the user agreement that told you exactly what you paid per currency on international sales.
Seems you have problems reading and understanding if you can't read the user agreement OR realise that when you click on ''ask the community'' you are going to get other users and not customer services.

"If you want customer services then I suggest you click on help / support and select that option."
Clicking on help/support leads you to this forum. That's the point, they do not provide direct customer support on this site anymore, you have to phone them and wait on hold to get an answer to the simplest question. Ebay is now the same way.
"But I found a link within the user agreement that told you exactly what you paid per currency on international sales.'
Well good for you, I bet you came out ahead in the children's annual Easter Egg hunt too, personally I have better ways to spend my time than poring through a cryptic and poorly written fee schedule. Please post that link that shows the currency conversion fees for all common currencies.

conversion fee is now 3%,not 2 1/2 %
as for exchange rate between 2 currencies,it fluctuates, you can figure this out yourself from the original payment in one currency and the final payment you recived in another currency, taking into consideration to exclude the convesion fee of 3 %,paypal transaction fee and 2.9-4.4 % of the original payment.
