When will money appear

My friend sent me $100 yesterday but it isn't showing on my account. I need this money soon to pay one of our bills. Does anyone know how long it will be until it appears or what is going on?

Paypal payments are more or less instant.

You need to ask your friends what email address he sent the funds to and if there was a 'typo' in it or not.

Also ask him what it says next to the transaction in their paypal account.

1. Completed.

2. Unclaimed.

3. Unclaimed with a cancel option.
