Unclear if buyer has paid or not on eBay

I have an item I sold on eBay. In eBay it shows as Awaiting Payment, and as funds paid.

It doesn't show in PayPal. Has the buyer paid or not?

Ther eis no such thing as awaiting payment and as funds paid/

either you are paid or you are not.

in your listing,did you ask to be paid via paypal and give your paypal email address?

if yes and you cant find payment in your account or get an email from paypal saying you get cash,then he has not paid you.

I had this exact problem last week and PayPal solved it today ,somehow their system (ebay or PayPal)paid the money to a defunct email address of mine that I have not used in over 10 years and they have no idea why? The PayPal agent had to manually put in all of my dead Comcast addresses back onto my PayPal account until the funds appeared again. They had no idea why or how a BIN on ebay would do this .I have been an ebay seller for almost 20 years and this was a first. One extra added lovely feature is they put the funds on hold for 21 days..They **bleep** up and I suffer for it.
