Unable to Make Purchase - phone number isn't registered to me

I've been trying to make purchases on eBay the past fee days, but I'm unable to do so. When I go to make a purchase, PayPal says it needs to identify it's me with either a call or text. That's fine, even though I'm using my phone which I've already made purchases with a ton of times... But then I am unable to select my phone number that I've added and verified to my account. So I type in my phone number and it says my phone number isn't registered to me. Last I checked I'm the one paying the bill and it's my phone! With my billing address and credit card. Stuck in this loop and completely unable to use my PayPal money. Found multiple posts with same issue and no solution. When I try to edit my phone number in my account, it tells me try to call customer support. But that just links me back to the FAQ with no number. I've sent support tickets in and just received automated replies both times to check the FAQ.
