Selling via meetup and payment with friends and family

I am wondering.. Say if I wanted to sell something in person. The person offers cash on collection. Would it be possible for him to pay me via friends and family as I physically hand him the item? Or is he able to cancel the payment after I give him the item? Thanks. I just want to use friends and family as an alternate to cash in hand as that is risky

If he offers cash take it glady.  It is the only safe method for pickup.

As for PayPal family friends, it is against PayPal policy to use it for purchase and you risk you account being limited by circumventing PayPal polcicies to avoid paying fees.  Furthermore, all the buyer has to do is claim the payment was unauthorized and he gets the money back and the goods.

Thanks for the reply, I thought if the payment was through friends and family, they will not be able to claim the payment as unauthorized.....?
