Prepaid card transfer prob

I wanted to move my money from PayPal to my prepaid MasterCard so I could a really access it so I set it up with the bank and routing number and transferred the money....Thinking this would be an instant transfer I was a little upset when it said there would be a 72 hour hold while they check for security and fraud issues....nothing I can do so I waited. 3 days later on the PayPal website the transfer says it's completed instead of pending so I get on my MasterCard account to check the funds and there's still nothing. Not a pending transfer or anything. My money disappeared from PayPal and now I'm a little worried as to where it went. I know the routing # was correct as I confirmed the bank while I was waiting the 3 days. My question I guess is if the transfer is complete on PayPal side, wouldn't it at the very least be pending in my account?

if I understand what you are saying,you transfer fund from bank to Paypal account and then from Paypal account to your Paypal prepaid MC debit card?

It takes 3-5 from your bank to Paypal account.

then youhave to move it from Paypal to prepaid card yourself if the two arelinked.

BTW,the prepaid card must be a permanent card in your name,not the one you bought in store.

I'm just trying to transfer from PayPal to my card.....i used the account and routing # from the card which uses metabank. At first I called my card customer service for the numbers and then I found I could look it up online in my account ....i had no problem using the same #s to confirm the bank with PayPal as the two 15cent deposits showed up instantly but my transfer doesn't show a trace other than saying completed on PayPals website

most folks use a feature in their Paypal account to transfer to the prepaid card once it is linked,maybe you can search and find  how they do it,there is no need for routing number and account number.

this card also has its own website to tell you more about its service.

is the account numbers yours alone or belong to all the Paypal prepaid members?

If I understand what is said on their website,all the prepaid money from Paypal members are kept in one FDIC insured account with BANKCORP Bank.

may be some one else can clarify.

when paypal said completed,what it does is it has asked its bank where your paypal money is kept to push it out to ACH,no different than you and I do online b anking and ask the bank to send a payment out to another bank.

some banks do this great push several times a day,some once a day usually at night.

you know how ACH works ,right?

and I am not sure they do this over the weekend.

I dont think this Fed Reserve clearing ACH is open on holiday or weekend

I know the account number isn't the card #....and it's not a PayPal card. It's a prepaid MasterCard. I got the account number n routing # from my account online. Like I said, if the test deposits to verifyg the bank went through then why wouldn't my transfer at least show up as pending or whatever

Paypal is a nifty tool to buy online,not a primary finance tool for the household,plan your finance well,always have a cushion to fall back .

sometimes you read someone go to CVS and fork over $500 and 4 digit code and no one knows where the money is and the guy needs to pay his medical bill or landlord is about to kick him out or he is starving ?

just think your house is on file and PAYPAL CUSTOMER service is sending you an automated message or make you wait 2 hours or talk to someone in Zinbawe?
