Paypal/Banking Request and With-holding funds Bad Customer Service

After my horriable experince with Paypal and their Polocies and Procedures they fail to educate their members about certain payment procedures that they offer and utilize. I am wondering about their services and lack of protection for consumers who use their services. I was on the Phone with Paypal trying to cacnel a purchase and be refunded the same day and to no avail I was forced to wait the following week to transfer the funds back to the bank account to resolve the issues with the bank in a timely manner. "There is nothing we can do about it". Due to the poor lack of communication and services Paypal refused to give me the money they intinally requested from my back account to resolve an banking issue until I physically went to the bank. After finally speaking to a polite supervisor I was infromed about a instant payment procedure Paypal offers to their users basically putting the money forward to be able to pay the verndor/seller even if the funds are not accecsiable through your bank this is something I had no knowledge of. Paypal held the refuneded funds three days longer after everything was resolved between the seller and I. They also lied numerous times about when the funds would actually be accesiable and they will not take ownership at all for the problem that they created by waiting to the following week to make the funds available and taking the money out of my account. It was a hassle to actually be able to speak to a supervisor. One supervisor I spoke to was very rude,impaitent and did not give me the information I needed but was very quick to infrom me about hitting the the confirm and buy button and how I was wrong. Before severl hours later I spoke with a second supervisor and I was able to understand the payment process that put me on bad terms with my banking instatuion in the first place. After using Paypayl for several years I am very disapointed in the custmer serivce I recieved this week. It wasn't until I physcially went to the bank with a bank letter explaing what happened from a service representative from Paypal..that they decided to make my paypal funds accecesiable later on within that day of me calling to see if they could take the hold off my funds. If Paypal didn't hold my funds for a week proir..I would be in good terms with my banking instatution and I would have been able to resolve my issue in a timely manner. This one situation just made me look at Paypal as a company and or establishment who values their customers totally differently. I am displeased with the serivce I reciveved this entire week with Paypal they seriously need to work on their procedures dealing with different payment methods and at least send a confirmation email explaing the details of what payment procedure has or was taking place. From my experiences today. Paypal wanted to take no ownership at all for what they did and how they shouldn't have not requested for funds to be taking out completely justifying their actions just wanting to sweep the whole situation under the rug. They are very quick to pass the blame instead of taking ownership for what they have done...I am very very disappointed after all of the trouble that they caused me I was not able to recieve credit or anything to be compensated for their poor unreliable services.
