Payment to South Africa

Hi I have send some money to my friend in South Africa as for I am in the UK. This was about 2 weeks ago and it still says pending. Why so?

Pending in your paypal account?

Pending in their paypal account?

Pending / unclaimed?

Pending / unclaimed with a cancel option?

Did you send in their currency?

Did you send in USD?

Pending in their account. Payment was made in uk currency.

So have they added sterling as a receiving currency on their SA paypal account?

If not tell them to do this >>

Go and click on this icon (>) next to paypal balance, then select 'manage currencies' under the pop up box, then on that page select GBP as another receiving currency and the funds 'should' appear.

When they do they may need to convert them to their own currency to withdraw, if they want to do that they go back to the same place and the currency conversion option is on the right side of that page.
