Pay after delivery , how to stop it altogether ?

I do not want this option but I cannot get rid of it permanently. Can someone help ? I have tried classic PayPal, under my money, no luck . Have tried every option.

To change the default way you pay for purchases:

1.Log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk.
2.Click the COG SYMBOL 'SETTINGS' near the top right of the page. (spanner thing next to log out).
3.Scroll down to 'Payment Settings'.
4.Click 'Pay after Delivery',
5.Under 'Paying after delivery is my preferred way to pay', click 'Turn this option off'.

It doesn't have the last option. I'm in USA

Check the Wallet page, is Pay After Delivery listed/selected? If yes, select a different preferred payment method.

You do not see a button to turn off PAD in the Payment preferences of your profile settings?  It should be above the in-store preferred payment options.

Yes, I am also in the US looking for an answer to deleting Pay after Delivery. Why are we getting UK information on a US board?

So much of this does not make sense.  I never authorized Pay after Delivery...

I am having the same problem. Mine is turned off and has always been.  But for some reason it has started to pay after delivery
