PLEASE help * Negative balance but $ transferred and recieved

July 1st, I transferred $1,400 from my bank account to a Paypal user.

I had previously transferred money to the same Paypal user (my landlord) without issue. 

Today, I logged in to send another payment and I descovered I had a negative $1,400 balance.

My landlord recieved the July payment ($1,400) which was transferred from my bank account.

Why would PayPay have me negative $1,400?

I am not able to send August payment now because PayPal is asking for the $1,400 plus August payment of $1,400 = $2,800

This is insane becuase I should not be in negative nor do I want to pay double.

Do you have a credit card linked to your PayPal account?

What are the details of the PayPal transaction for 1 July?  Does it match up with a transfer from your bank account?

What other transactions are in your PayPal account?
