So I moved over a year ago and I added my new address under manage addresses and completely deleted my previous address. None of my credit cards have the old address as the billing address I triple checked. When I go to select my default address it only shows my current address. when I go back into manage addresses it only lists my current address. BUT occasionally when I go and check out through PayPal on a site it shows my shipping address as my old address. when I click on change address it shows both my new and old address. It has an option to change default address and even though I keep telling it to set my current address to my default address it keeps going back to my old address on what seems to be a completely random basis. So today was the last straw It of course tried to use my old address when trying to make a purchase today so I went in and changed my default address back to my new address yet again. BUT this time despite the fact that the receipt I got from the retailer and the PayPal transaction clearly showing my current address the packaged got shipped to my old address. I had never ordered from this store before so there is no way they could have had my old address, the only place they could have received it from was PayPal directly. I have copies of the receipts from the retailer and PayPal showing I indicated to ship to my new address and the tracking which clearly shows the package being mailed to my old address. So somehow even though my old address should not in anyway be associated with my PayPal account any longer PayPal still put it on the vendor's packing slip.
