Hi, I was selling a phone on eBay and was contacted by a buyer outside of UK, he wants me to send it to Austria. He told me that the buy it now button isn't showing and asked for my PayPal so he can send the money directly. He even said that I can request the money from him. So I sent the request and now it says pending. To make sure I tried to request money from my other account and it also says pending so I am unsure. After he messaged me saying that he had made the payment, I got this email which he told me to look at. So I just wanted to know the communities thoughts as I do not want to be scammed. Also the Learn more button on the image does not work and searching on google doesn't really show anything related to the email. I am worried as well where it says From: as first it says the paypal service email and after it says memberverifiedpay email. Also his eBay account is a month old.
EDIT: After checking the spam emails I seen the payment received email as well.
Thanks

THIS IS A TYPICAL PAYPAL SCAM.
They encourage you to use paypal and may ask you to send the item internationally. They don't quibble on cost but ask you to send a money request so they can send a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.
Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
