Incoming payment not showing up

Im wondering if someone can help me

An automatic payment from my new workplace was sent out last wednesday/thursday and its now tuesday the following week. its still not shown up in my account atall.

Does anyone recall any instances where payments have taken upto a week to show in their paypal account?
I have no proof theyve sent the money but they are adiment its sent and all details are correct?

Have you checked the email address they sent the payment to and made sure they did not make a typo?

Did they send the payment in your currency?
