If the merchant doesn't have PayPal as an option, can I use PayPal credit like a credit card?

I'm dealing with a merchant right now, and they require the use of a credit/debit card. I'd like to use my PayPal credit account, however, due to the size of the purchase. I have been told that each PayPal credit account has the details required to key it in like a credit card, but all I can find is the 16-digit account number on my statements. Q1: Am I able to process PayPal credit like a credit card? and Q2: How do I obtain the additional information (expiration date and security code)?
