How do I know if a seller issued me a refund

I was informed by a seller that I they are giving me a refund. I have pasted their exact wording below.

"Please don't worry,we had informed paypal to refund, the processing time from paypal will more than 3-7 business days, please wait for your refund patiently."

I have not received an email from paying saying that a refund is being issued nor do I see any pending transaction in my history. Is the seller lying to me or is there really a wait time for a refund to be issued. My method of payment was a withdrawl from my bank account. I always thought that refunds were instant, so I am just looking for a way to see if the seller has actaully issued a refund.

Hi BeamerBoo

Yes refunds can take up to 7 business days

They are normally instant if u paid with your ppal balance.

Since u paid from your bank it will go back there.

U should receive confirmation from ppal regarding a refund

U will also see the refund in your ppal acc.

If still not received u have 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute

Whilst refunds may take a few days etc to process YOU SHOULD get an email to say they have refunded the minute they have done so and the refund show in your transaction history even though it may take a while to go back to a card etc.
