Welcome to the PayPal Community! Sorry to hear you're having trouble sending money via PayPal.Me. Here's some info that should be helpful.
The person you are trying to send money to should have provided you with a link or a user name. The link would look like this:
https://www.paypal.me/(PayPal.Me User Name)
Let's say the recipient's PayPal.Me user name is HarryPotter. Then the link would be
https://www.paypal.me/HarryPotter
If the person you want to send money to gave you only their PayPal.Me user name, then you need to open a new browser window, type in https://www.paypal.me/ and add the user name after the /.
When the PayPal.Me page loads, you should see the person's name, a space to enter the amount you want to send, a profile picture (possibly a picture of the person you're sending money to) and a button that says Next.
Enter the amount, adjust the currency (if needed) and click Next. From there, follow the directions.
