Ebay and Paypal problem

This morning I attempted to maked a purchase on Ebay. While going through the checkout it would not allow me to use my funds in my Paypal account and would change to a credit card and ask for card info. I tried 2 or 3 times with the same result.  What gives?

Problem solved. Seller  didn't accept paypal. My bad
