Card reader won't process transactions due to Google location

I'm at a show yesterday and the first 7 or 8 hours were fine, the reader worked perfectly on each transaction. Then on one transation it wouldn't process and an error message came up saying that Google requires location data. I checked all of the location settings and they were all on (and hadn't been changed from when I first arrived). I've had this happen once or twice before and generally I can turn the phone off, try later and have it work but this time it kept failing. I'm using the card reader on an Android phone. Any advice would be appreciated! I've got two more days of shows this weekend and need this to work, and Paypal customer service isn't up yet (I'm on the east coast).
Thanks!
