paypal credit linked to another paypal account?

I received approval for a 1200 paypal credit line today.  somehow in the process of creating all these accounts and trying to link my paypal credit to my paypal account my paypal credit was linked to the wrong (and unknown) paypal account.  I have no idea what paypal account it got linked to but its in error and i cant access my line of credit.  how can i fix this and link my paypal credit to the proper paypal account?

gosh you had better contact customer services as quickly as possible in case you added it to another persons account and they are using it???

now its actully walking me through the "link" process but im getting an error that says "please use the information you used when you applied for paypal credit" and i AM using that information.  nothing is different. this is so stupid

I think you're going through the same crap I am. Even ended up with two different usernames like me, lol. I got the same message also trying to create a new acct to link the paypal credit. It's incredibly frustrating. Still haven't found any solutions. Gl, seems tough to get concrete answers. Almost like paypal intentionally is doing this to rack up on late fees and interest.

I am having the same problem. I used the paypal credit one time, paid it all off within 6 months, tried using it again a few months later and it gave me this.

Are you sure it got linked to a different PP account?

When I linked mine, the message originally said "this credit account is already linked to a different PP account"  I panicked and signed into my PP account and there the credit was... It was linked to the proper account...

If they are successfully linked, the available credit will show up to the left, right under your PP balance on your account page.

Have you ever had another PP account, in the past? If yes, it's possible the credit got linked to your old account.

NEXT  Do you already have a PP Mastercard or Debit?  If so the following will apply:

If you already have a PayPal cards product linked to your account, you will not be able to add PayPal Credit to the same account. You will need to open a new PayPal account and link that to your PayPal Credit account.
