So I owe paypal $19.98. I sent a money order of $20 and yet they only used $8.99 for payment and still have a negative balance of $9.99. Wondering why I still have this negative balance when I sent $20 to which I should have $1.02 leftover for my payment to paypal. Will the rest of the negative balance be paid off or are they stealing my money? Just want to make sure that they will add the rest of the negative balance be resolved and not owe paypal money. This isn't for paypal credit but just paypal. Please let me know. I am also new to the community forums.

Are there any fees you had to pay (like "late fees") They would take that out of your payment first, most likely, leaving you with a negative (still owing) balance.
Best to call them and ask about it.

OOps meant 18.98. It was 2 different payments from 2 different places. One was 8.99 and the other was 9.99. I sent a $20 money order so just wondering why it is like this. If I see it is still like this by let's say wednesday then I will def call them.
