Why, when there is ample money in bank acccount, I send to friends and family one day and it goes instant delivery and then the next time I do same thing and it goes by eCheck. I do not see a place that I can reqquest money to go instant instead of stupid eCheck that takes days.

@mmds

Are your back up cards linked to your paypal account are up to date and not due to expire soon??

If not then it may be that you have funded a lot of purchases from your bank account recently??

Because sometimes when there is a lot of funds due to come out of your bank account paypal will start sending echeques instead.

When you pay normally paypal ''credit'' the seller for you and they take the wait for the funds to transfer to paypal > seller.

But if they think their may be a risk of a payment failing (ie suddenly a lot of payments) then they pass the risk to you and you have to wait for the funds to clear through to paypal > seller.

That may not be the case but those are some of the reasons echeques are sent.
