fees for family?

hi i'm hoping someone can explain simply for me! When making a payment to a friend, i select the no fee option but the final transaction shows me a fee of £3.25??

I honestly have no clue why!

Please help me understand 🙂

Family / friends payments are only free if you fund them via funds in your paypal balance or bank account, if you use a card then you are charged a fee.
