Well you can go to "help" in your online account and follow the directions that don't make sense. Thats where I started. The directions say to go to your account, click on "history" and "Click Cancel under Order Status/Action". Unfortunately there is nothing to click under "order status/action"... There is no cancel button. So then what you get to do is call the 888 toll free number and weave through 10 minutes of voice activated customer service that gives you the option to make payments if you want to. If you are lucky enough to finally get to an agent in India they will explain that they can't cancel payments but that they can give you a phone number to call that might help. Screw it... I guess this payment for $89 will just sit pending in my account and I'll continue paying intrest on it until I get fed up enough that I just have to close the account altogether.

Exact same problem, there is no way to cancel a payment unless it's 30 days old. Not sure why those instructions are even there.
The item was on back order. Nothing I can do but wait 30 days.....nice move there.
**bleep**.

What is meant by backorder. The item was ready to be mailed. Will the amount not
be cleared up for 30 days. I realize this may be your rules, but will this amount
be added to Mr. Thortons account or be held in Paypal account?

i just paid the item w/ my mastercard because the seller sent me an email asking for my payment. Then I found
out that I already paid thru paypal. How can I get credit for my extra payment?
I called my mastercard help, they said ask Paypal to cancel the first payment. Is this ok?

If there is no "Cancel" option for the payment on your PayPal account history page, you will need to ask the seller to refund the payment.
If you have not received the described item and the seller fails to refund, you can initiate an INR (Item Not Received) dispute using either PayPal's Resolution Center or eBay's Resolution Center.
