I am new to paypal and have tried to send a donation to a site using Paypal and I get the following error:

You will need to add and confirm your bank account. Once your bank account has been added and confirmed, you can continue this payment. Add your bank account information below.

I have tried 2 different cards, with 2 different banks, and still no luck. I have read the help topics, but nothing seems to fit from what I can see. Any help would be appreciated. Also, my son uses the same type of card/bank that I am using, and he has never had this problem. He has been using paypal for years. Any help is appreciated.
