I had a seller refund me for a blender I paid for on February 11. When I go to PayPal to see if the refund is pending & when I click on the refund it says that it is pending until February 17. When I check up to that date & every date after that the refund is still pending. Does anyone know why a refund is pending longer than 7 or 10 business days? I never had a refund pending for a long time before.
I contacted PayPal yesterday February, 23 2016 via my cellphone. When I finally was able to talk to a person who works for PayPal, I let her know my refund is pending longer than normal. She told me to contact the merchant (eBay seller) to see what is taking the bank so long to give me a refund. I contacted the seller via eBay twice yesterday & she told me to contact PayPal again and learn I do not have your money.
I just contacted PayPal via my cellphone. The guy from customer service told me to contact eBay about a case opened on me. I guess I need to contact eBay then.
My refund is still pending today February 24. I am giving a pending until February 17. Can someone tell me why a refund can be pending longer than normal? I never had any refunds before pend for longer than normal on me. I have also only gotten 2 other refunds quickly because the refunds were refunded to my debit card. I accidentally paid for a Vitamix Blender with my checking account instead of using my debit card. Could the refund be pending longer because I used my checking account to pay for a Vitamix Blender I asked for the eBay seller to refund on February 11 when the payment went through? Any help will be appreciated.
I paid using my checking account & not my debit account. I also know the refund will go to my PayPal account & I will then have to transfer the amount to my back to my checking account afterwards.
I do not know why a refund in my PayPal account keeps pending longer than 7 to 10 business days. I have never had this happen to a refund I have gotten from other sellers on eBay.
