When can I use a credit/ debit card????????????

I would have thought this would be an easy answer but I was wrong. I bought some parts from a private seller and it was my understanding I could use my card. I was told that after its verified that it would be instant and no fees but when I get to the review page and change payment options it only gives me two options. The two it gives me is PAYPAL BALANCE and ECHECK that still requires 3-5 days. What am I doing wrong or is this even possible? Thanks

Paypal will always ues the paypal balance first.

You will need to  withdrawl the paypal balance to your bank account and they you will be able to fund the payment with your credit card.

Thanks for the answer! So as long as there is a balance on my PAYPAL account I cant use the debit/credit card?
